Caremaxi connects you with healthcare practitioners and pharmacies. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and who ever sees it.

Applies to all accounts on the Caremaxi app: patients, booked practitioners, and partner pharmacies fulfilling your orders.

Information collection

To provide our health booking and medication delivery services, we collect the following categories of information:

PII Personally identifiable information

Name, date of birth, physical address, email address, phone number, and government-issued identification (if required for prescription verification).

PHI Protected health information

Medical history provided by you, current symptoms, consultation notes generated by practitioners on the app, prescription records, and health insurance details.

Technical Technical and usage data

Device identifiers, IP addresses, app interaction data, and geolocation — necessary for pharmacy matching and delivery logistics.

Purpose of data use

We use the collected information strictly to operate the app and facilitate your care. Specifically, we use your data to:

Match you with appropriate healthcare practitioners and local pharmacies.
Securely transmit your health information to your booked practitioner prior to and during your consultation.
Process and fulfill medication orders and arrange delivery.
Process payments securely.
Comply with legal obligations regarding the tracking and dispensing of prescription medications.

Data sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal or health information to marketers or data brokers. Your data is only shared with entities necessary to fulfill your requested services:

Healthcare providers

Practitioners you book through the app receive access to your PII and PHI solely for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment.

Partner pharmacies

If a prescription is issued or medication ordered, we share your name, delivery address, and prescription details with the fulfilling pharmacy.

Service providers

Payment processors, cloud hosting services, and delivery couriers, all bound by strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.

Legal authorities

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to prevent imminent harm to the user or others.

We implement robust technical and organizational measures to protect your health data, including:

End-to-end encryption for data in transit and at rest.
Multi-factor authentication for practitioner access.

No system is entirely secure. While we work hard to protect your information, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Request a copy of the PII and PHI we hold about you.
Request corrections to inaccurate medical records, subject to practitioner verification.
Request deletion of your account and associated data, retaining only what we are legally required to keep for medical and transactional record-keeping.
